TITLE: CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER (CIO)

DUTIES:

Devising and executing computerized and automated trading algorithms, strategies and information technology. Overseeing all aspects of computerized trading strategy. Deploying various tools from computer science and engineering and game theory to systematizing global macro investments into computer science-driven trades. Researching prospective trades from a quantitative risk management, hedging, and goal-based optimization problem standpoints and interpreting the algorithmic implications. Developing and implementing executable trading algorithms in a manner that is efficient and timely to improve the bottom line of the hedge fund. Using tools like machine learning, reinforcement learning and game theory to optimize automated decision making. Creating a portfolio that would yield the highest expected returns while minimizing risk using expertise in risk management technology, quantitative investing, operations research and financial engineering. Integrating the latest computer engineering technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and game theory into the fund’s investment plan ultimately to provide the fund’s clients with a higher source of potential returns. Evaluating, implementing and scaling state-of-the-art computer science technologies so that the fund can gain a competitive edge in the hedge fund industry. Salary: $ 135,000 per year 

REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or closely related fields 

SALARY RANGE:

$ 135,000 per year 

HOURS:

Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm
